About Rev.Dr. Austin Chimenya

Rev. Dr. Austin Chimemya is a seasoned Presbyterian minister, academic, and church administrator with extensive experience in pastoral leadership, theological education, and organizational governance. He holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Theology from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa, and a Diploma in Theology from Zomba Theological College, Malawi.

Over the years, Dr. Chimemya has served in various leadership roles within the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP) Blantyre Synod, including Deputy General Secretary, Presbytery Moderator and Clerk, and Parish Minister in multiple congregations. He has also contributed to governance in the public sector as a Board Director and Committee Chairperson for the Southern and Northern Region Water Boards.

A former Assistant Lecturer at the University of Fort Hare, Dr. Chimemya brings a strong academic and managerial background to both church and community work. His international exposure includes theological missions and study tours in the USA, UK, Sweden, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
