Mr. Kondwani Shaba

Kondwani Shaba is a Dean of Students at the University of Blantyre Synod, with over 19 years of  experience in academia and international development. A dedicated educator and administrator, he brings extensive expertise in student affairs, academic management and community development. Kondwani holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from Blantyre International University.

Throughout his career, he has held key roles including Lecturer, Head of Departments, Research Chairperson and Quality Assurance Chairperson. He is passionate about student welfare, leadership development and fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments. A Dean of Students, Kondwani is committed in promoting student success, well-being and engagement through innovative programs and responsive support services.
